By now (I hope) you all know about FundRaising Success' Engage Conference. We held our first one in Philadelphia last May, and it was a great success. So much so that we're bringing it back, and once again, it'll be held in Philly in the shadow of the Liberty Bell at WHYY in Old City.
Engage is a scintillating, one-day event — a case-study conference, where this year attendees will hear the stories of how The Coast Guard Foundation, City Harvest and Food For The Poor made the leap "from where they were to where they are." Each case study will paint a full picture of the organization's growth and how it was achieved.
In between, attendees can find a topic of interest from our nearly dozen roundtables, which are being moderated by some of the freshest thinkers in the industry. From organization/agency partnerships, to retention, to board development, to marketing, to major gifts and more ... the roundtables are lively, information-packed sessions that are totally attendee-driven. And that means your top concerns will be the top concerns of the moderators.
And I can't forget to mention our riveting keynote session by fundraising marketer extraordinaire Kivi Leroux Miller, who will open the day with a discussion on content marketing and how to tell the story of your mission — the backbone of your fundraising — in ways that engage donors to increase the breadth and depth of their commitment to your cause. To wrap things up, our case-study speakers will convene to answer more attendee questions and — very important! — lay out how the strategies they outlined can be put to use in any organization of any size — yours included!
One of the hallmarks of Engage is networking galore and lots of opportunities to talk with speakers, sponsors, FS staff and fellow attendees to get your questions answered. So we're rounding out the day with a taste of Philly lunch and a closing cocktail reception, and we'll be kicking things off the night before with a meet-and-greet at a local restaurant — all included in the price of your registration.
