Leader Dogs/Huntsinger & Jeffer Package Wins Campaign of the Year
PHILADELPHIA (Oct. 11) - FundRaising Success magazine is pleased to announce the winners of the 2012 Gold Awards for Fundraising Excellence.
Leader Dogs for the Blind's "Graduation Poster" package, submitted by Huntsinger & Jeffer, took top honors as Fundraising Campaign of the Year.
Other winners are listed below.
Judging took place in early September in the magazine's Philadelphia office. Judges included Dane Grams, director of nonprofit services at Care2 and co-chair of the FundRaising Success Editorial Advisory Board, and author, coach, copywriter and nonprofit marketing consultant Pamela Grow, as well as FS Managing Editor Joe Boland and director of the Who's Mailing What! Archives Paul Bobnak.
"Overall, we saw some very strong but very traditional campaigns — very few major risks or outside-the-box approaches," Grams said. "Was this a wise choice? It seems like it was, as most of the results we reviewed were incredibly strong."
