Here's My Chance and FastFWD Win Webby Award
(Press release, May 6, 2014) — Here's My Chance and FastFWD announced that they have been named Best City & Urban Innovation Website in the People's Voice Award Category in the 18th Annual Webby Awards. Hailed as the "Internet's highest honor" by The New York Times, the Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet.
The IADAS, which nominates and selects the Webby Awards PV Winners, comprises Web industry experts. This year, over 1.5 million votes were cast by people around the world for their favorite sites, videos, ads, mobile sites and apps and social in the Webby People's Voice Awards.
FastFWD was designed to identify and support entrepreneurial solutions to city problems. Here's My Chance developed a robust website that engaged prospective entrepreneur applicants and provided a window into the processes and happenings during the social venture accelerator program.
