FundRaising Success Virtual Conference Speaker: Molly Duerr
(On May 19, FundRaising Success will host its second annual virtual conference and expo: Engaging, Enlightening, Empowering Donors. Did we mention it's FREE? Each week until then, we'll be publishing bios of our featured speakers.)
ON-DEMAND WEBINAR: The New Face of Corporate Giving
Speaker: Molly Duerr
Molly is an associate director for the American Diabetes Association, Minnesota Area. Her primary responsibilities include fundraising, event planning and marketing for the American Diabetes Association EXPO Minneapolis, Minnesota Area Gala as well as corporate sales.
Since joining ADA in 2003, Molly has generated almost $4 million in contributed funds. She did so by changing her focus from event-specific sponsorships to generating year-round packages in order to give corporations opportunities for broader, customized alignments with the organization.
"Molly doesn't believe in cookie-cutter packages but prefers to work closely with the corporate community to develop targeted sponsorship packages that serve their needs as well as the needs of the American Diabetes Association," says Sybil Freeman, director of corporate development for the American Diabetes Association/Atlanta, who will be co-presenting at this session.
In addition to ADA, Molly serves on the local Association of American Diabetes Educators (AADE) board of directors, HealthPartners diabetes advisory board and the Anoka-Hennepin school district health wellness and safety committee.
An important aspect of her life is family — her husband Bob, son Alex and dog Sparkle. Molly can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1.888.DIABETES x6652.
