In particular, the pandemic has heightened the need for food banks as schools close down, businesses shut down and many jobs are lost. In this episode of The NonProfit Voice, Nhu Te, editor-in-chief of NonProfit PRO, is joined by Samantha Wright, director of development operations and analytics of Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC, and Jay Odell, president of Blackbaud Nonprofit Group, to discuss how the pandemic has impacted food banks, what online fundraising efforts look like, how to manage a large influx of donations and much more.
