TUCSON, Ariz. June 23, 2009 — Ed McMahon, one of America’s best known television personalities and longtime anchor of the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon, died today at age 86 in Los Angeles.

AUSTIN, Texas, April 10, 2009 — As part of a scholarship program unique in the type of students it supports and its retention rates that far exceed the national average, the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation's Dell Scholars Program today awarded 300 students with $6,000,000 in college scholarship funds. To date, the Dell Scholars Program has awarded 1,250 scholarships and paid out $25 million in scholarship funds.
