Reeher Introduces Online and Mobile Tool to Help Universities and Colleges Manage Reunion Giving Volunteer Programs
Reeher, St. Paul, Minn., a developer of software services for higher education fundraising efforts, has developed the Class Agent fundraising solution. The module is the first integrated online and mobile tool that helps universities and colleges manage class agents, and simplifies the solicitation process to save time and improve results.
"During conversations with university leaders, we found that many were frustrated with manual processes that were inefficient and made it difficult to get volunteers to comply, or institutions were trying to build their own websites from scratch," said Reeher president and CEO Andrew Reeher. "Our mission is to provide higher ed advancement professionals with tools that make their jobs easier and improve results, and when we heard leaders repeatedly talking about these pain points, we listened and delivered an efficient, effective way to simplify class agent management and streamline the process."
Drawing from data already in the company's signature Reeher Platform—including constituents, volunteer information and predictive scores to help university managers and class agents prioritize prospects—the new solution helps to easily assign and manage volunteer fundraising activities. The Class Agent fundraising solution leverages the predictive score and constituent giving history in the Reeher Platform, and is available to Reeher Platform subscribers.
The Class Agent fundraising solution provides:
- An online management dashboard for university fundraising staff to manage class agent assignments and view activities. Within this portal, university managers can assign prospects to each class agent based on commonalities such as graduation year, major, dorm they lived in, etc. University staff can also track class agent fundraising activity, and see which volunteers are doing well and which need more follow-up.
- A web portal for class agents to see their assignments and get the information they need to make the "asks" of their peers. The portal provides prioritized prospect lists with commonalities and contact information, solicitation scripts and the ability for class agents to record and track the results of their outreach. University managers can view these results from their portal, and also export the data if needed.
- An iOS mobile app (integrated with the web portal) for class agents to quickly contact their assignments and file their contact and status reports. Using their iPhones or iPads, class agents can pull up prospect phone numbers, call prospects and record the results all in one place.
Advancement leaders from Trinity College, Hartford, Conn., partnered with Reeher to try the Class Agent fundraising solution. "When Reeher invited us to try the Class Agent fundraising solution, we couldn't pass up the opportunity," said Noelle Marchaj, senior associate director of annual giving at Trinity College. "With our initial use, we are impressed with how easy the solution is to use, and the robust features that allow us to streamline the process, improving efficiency and productivity. It also allows us to rank and compare class results, and simplifies communications to large groups of volunteers through the application or email notifications, further saving staff time."
