Lautman Maska Neill & Company, an award-winning consulting firm specializing in fully-integrated fundraising for nonprofits, announced the promotion of Marie Kosanovich, to vice president, accounts.
“We are thrilled to recognize Maries’s dedication to our clients and their missions through this promotion,” said Tiffany Neill, partner.
“Her extensive fundraising knowledge always ensures that we are providing the most innovative programs to our nonprofit partners," added Lisa Maska, partner.
“Marie is a true leader and mentor within the company — spearheading the training for our more junior account staff — and in the industry, through her volunteer work serving on the Boards of both the DMAW and TNPA,” noted Amy Sukol, CFRE, principal.
Kosanovich has worked in the direct marketing industry for more than 25 years — 16 of which have been dedicated specifically to fundraising for nonprofit organizations. As Vice President, Accounts, she will manage the direct response campaigns for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Parkinson’s Foundation, Marine Corps Association Foundation, United Spinal Association, Virginia Hospital Center Foundation, and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Outside the office, Kosanovich indulges her passion for philanthropy by volunteering with the USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore, where she has logged over 1,000 volunteer hours since 2011. She is also a volunteer for the Honor Flight Network, where she gives tours to WWII and Korean War Veterans from all over the country.
Kosanovich currently serves on the board of directors for the Direct Marketing Association of Washington (DMAW). In addition to chairing the DMAW Programs and Marketing Opportunity Partners Committees, she was elected president in 2019. She has also been serving on The Nonprofit Alliance Board of Directors since 2018.
Kosanovich received her Bachelor of Science degree from Clarion University with a concentration in marketing and received her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Frostburg State University.
