2009 Annual Fundraising Resource Guide
Man, it’s crazy out there. Can you say information overload? How many marketing images flash before the typical consumer’s eyes on any given day? Like a trillion? OK, maybe not that many. But lots. How we manage to sort through it all and find the goods and services we really need seems like a minor miracle.
But if you’re a nonprofit fundraiser looking for services and products to help you do your job even better, then we’ve got your back — just like we’ve had for the past few years.
Our annual Fundraising Resource Guide is meant specifically to help you hone in on exactly the companies, products and services that best suit your needs. It’s a comprehensive compilation of hundreds of agencies, consultants and service/product/software/technology providers that you can keep on hand all year long. Rather than slog through general-information directories or those little scraps of paper that you collect at conference after conference with fellow fundraisers’ input scribbled on them, all you have to do is flip through the pages of the Fundraising Resource Guide to narrow down your search for the perfect partners and providers.
How it works
The list was compiled by our editorial and sales staff over the course of the second half of 2008. Every vendor and agency that serves the nonprofit fundraising sector was asked to submit basic information for free inclusion in the guide. There was also the option for companies to pay to have enhanced listings — with more company and service information included.
If you know the name of a specific company you’d like to contact, the Alphabetical Index, which starts on Page 50, will guide you to that company’s listing within the Category Listings. If you have a need but aren’t sure where to turn, head straight to the Category Listings, which start on Page 23. Simply look for the heading that includes what you’re looking for, and scan the companies and contact information listed there. The index at the right will help you locate your category of interest more quickly.
