Unless you've been hiding under a rock for the past few years, you've surely come across infographics in some form or another — you know, those long, colorful graphs that combine data and imagery on whatever topic.
More and more, nonprofits are using infographics in their communications. How? Lucky for you, integrated marketing provider Production Solutions created a handy infographic on how nonprofits are utilizing infographics. Click on the image to the right to check it out.
Here are a few highlights:
- amfAR saw increases of 13.5 percent in prospect response and 11 percent in reinstatement program response when it incorporated infographics.
- African Wildlife Foundation saw its overall response rate increase more than 893 percent (!) over comparable e-mail campaigns with just standard text when it used an e-mail campaign with infographics while also increasing donations 252 percent (!).
- Over the past two-plus years, infographic search volumes have increased by more than 800 percent.
