Omaha, Neb., September 30, 2009 — Ending September’s Hunger Action Month on a high note, a celebrity supporter of Feeding America announced ConAgra Foods Foundation’s new $10 million commitment to Feeding America at its “Rock a Little, Feed a Lot” concert Tuesday night featuring Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper and other performers. ConAgra Foods Foundation’s contribution is the largest donation ever made to fight child hunger with Feeding America and will help the organization meet the needs of the more than 12 million children in America – one in six – who are at risk of hunger across the country.

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J., July 14, 2009 — Mars Snackfood US announced today that its SNICKERS(R) Brand is teaming up with Feeding America to 'Bar Hunger' - a campaign to help the one in eight Americans struggling with hunger(1). As part of 'Bar Hunger,' SNICKERS will donate the equivalent of at least three million meals to Feeding America in 2009. July 7, 2009 —  When Major League Baseball All-Stars step to the plate during the 80th Midsummer Classic, they will have an added incentive to produce hits. In response to the growing need for emergency food assistance nationwide, the Bank of America Charitable Foundation will donate $5,000 for every recorded hit in the MLB All-Star Game to Feeding America, the nation's leading hunger-relief organization.

BENTONVILLE, Ark., June 24, 2009 — The Walmart Foundation is donating $7.8 million to support food banks and provide healthy, summer meals to children who receive free or reduced-price lunches during the school year. Through partnerships with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Feeding America, and local non-profits in the 10 states where children are most at risk of hunger, Walmart and its Foundation will help assure that their neighbors and those in local communities have access to nutritious food.

CHICAGO, April 1, 2009 — Feeding America today announced that they have received an inaugural grant of $300,000 from the Nationwide Foundation. The funds will be shared by the national office of Feeding America and 15 member food banks in communities where Nationwide Insurance associates live and work.
