During the session titled, “Why I Break S*)&+ to Make My Constituents Happy,” DJ Hampton will describe his method of “breaking everything” in order to turn around March of Dimes revenue production.

A three-year, $9 million grant program focused entirely on arts and culture in Philadelphia is to be announced Wednesday by the Knight Foundation, a Miami-based philanthropy.

Dubbed the Knight Arts Challenge - funding from the foundation must be matched from other sources - the program seeks applications focused on every arts sector and from individuals as well as organizations and institutions.

Philadelphia, PA, November 18, 2009 — The National Constitution Center Board of Trustees announced today that it has appointed David Eisner, former Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation for National and Community Service, to serve as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of the Center.  Eisner succeeds Linda E. Johnson, a member of the Center’s Board of Trustees, who has served as Acting President and Chief Executive Officer since the Board began its national search in January 2009.
