Steel Employees Asked to Volunteer at Local Nonprofits

June 7, 2009, Redlands Daily Facts — California Steel Industries employees are putting aside their regular duties in exchange for to-do lists from local charities.

In lieu of layoffs, employees from the Fontana-based steel company have been asked to spend some of their work days at local nonprofits.
