July 15, 2009, The Providence Journal — In a move to cut costs and consolidate services, Planned Parenthood organizations in Rhode Island and Connecticut will merge this summer.
The move comes as nonprofits everywhere are struggling with shrinking donations, rising costs and a growing demand for services.
