FS: How have you tried to meet those challenges?
MA: By getting the word out however possible. Some of the ways are through our vehicle-donation program advertisements, increasing tours and increasing the number of presentations we do to groups.
FS: What advice can you offer to other organizations that face similar challenges?
MA: Donors cannot support (in a big way) that which they do not know. Educate, market, communicate, collaborate and partner with everyone possible. We have a 100 percent success rate of securing a donation from individuals and the corporations/foundations they represent when they see our hard-working, heart-warming children and creative, passionate staff.
