LW Robbins Announces New Fundraising Partnership With American Health Assistance Foundation
PRESS RELEASE (June 3, 2011) — LW Robbins, a full service direct response fundraising agency that has served nonprofit organizations exclusively for over 40 years, announced today a new partnership with American Health Assistance Foundation (AHAF), a leading nonprofit organization that is dedicated to finding cures for age-related degenerative diseases. The foundation funds research on Alzheimer’s disease, macular degeneration, and glaucoma and provides the public with free information about risk factors, preventative lifestyles, and current treatments and coping strategies. LW Robbins will manage the organization’s direct response education and fundraising programs.
AHAF has selected LW Robbins as its direct marketing partner because of the agency’s rich experience and success in fundraising consulting and its deep expertise in the health sector.
“We were impressed by the depth of talent and experience of the LW Robbins team, and their focus on strong net income results and data-driven strategies and creative approaches,” said Donna Callison, Vice President of Development for AHAF. “We’re eager to tap into the collective expertise of President Lynn Edmonds and her staff of seasoned fundraisers as we look to grow AHAF’s direct response program in the years ahead,” she continued.
“We are tremendously honored that AHAF has chosen us to manage their direct response program,” said Ms. Edmonds, president of LW Robbins. “Our health sector clients have exceeded industry benchmarking performance over the years despite a challenging fundraising environment, and we are confident that we can improve the performance of AHAF’s program as well,” she continued.
“Our team is truly committed to helping AHAF produce more net income to fund the vital research and services it provides to fight these devastating diseases. Many of our team members have been touched by these diseases in their families. They are eager to put their fundraising skills and talents to work to make a difference in finding cures and boosting awareness. The level of excitement about our new partnership with AHAF is really palpable throughout the entire agency,” Ms. Edmonds remarked.
