President Trump and his re-election campaign have decided to cancel fundraisers scheduled this fall in Texas as the state recovers from Hurricane Harvey.
Trump was originally scheduled to hold a fundraising event in Dallas the end of September, while Vice President Mike Pence was slotted to attend fundraisers in San Antonio and Houston the beginning of October. All three events have been removed from the schedule.
Trump will still speak in Greensboro, N.C., and Las Vegas in October. Pence will be speaking at events in Washington, D.C., and Milwaukee in October, according to Politico.
Proceeds for these events will go toward Trump Victory, a Trump re-election-Republican National Committee campaign account.
