networking milieu — its possibilities, its limitations and the strategies needed to make it work.

Kellogg Foundation Awards $16.7 Million to Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation

Detroit, November 6, 2009 — Addressing the shortage of math and science teachers who will equip Mich.’s vulnerable students with the skills they need to compete in the workforce, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation has awarded the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation with a $16.7 million grant to establish a new statewide teaching fellowship program.

Verizon Awards $25,000 to Brooklyn Academy of Music

NEW YORK, August 18, 2009 — The Verizon Foundation has awarded a $15,000 grant to the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) to support students enrolled in its professional development workshops and after-school program. Verizon has also provided an additional $10,000 to support BAM’s Spring Gala.
