Seale was also the founding director of the Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and served as adviser on Presidential Initiatives to the Commissioner for the Administration for Children, Youth and Families at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
