In a little more than a month, FundRaising Success hosts its brand-new conference, Engage P2P: Redefining Peer-to-Peer Fundraising. We have a wonderful lineup of presenters and advisors, including Cassidy Richards, principal consultant at online marketing agency and a sponsor of Engage P2P Charity Dynamics.
Last year, Richards wrote a guest ProSpeak blog post on "Getting Started With Independent Fundraising Events," stating, "While it’s true that there are many benefits of starting one of these profitable programs, diving in carelessly ensures that you don’t maximize your revenue potential."
Richards shared the pros and cons of three different independent fundraising events models: the all-in-one, the fundraising hub and the focused campaign.
Ultimately, Richards says that "to determine the best approach for your organization, conduct a purposeful discovery and planning process. It should include conversations with internal stakeholders to clarify business practices, goals, overall fundraising strategy and available resources."
Learn more about the three independent fundraising events models here.
Of course, fundraising events should incorporate some element of peer-to-peer fundraising as well, which Richards is a big proponent of. That's why she is part of the Engage P2P Advisory Board.
Make sure to join Richards and your fundraising colleagues at Engage P2P: Redefining Peer to Peer on Oct. 21 in Washington, D.C. Get more info here, and register here. Makes sure to use the promo code "FSNEWS" for $100 off the registration fee.
Hope to see you there!
