Let's face it — nonprofits encapsulate more than just fundraising. Yes, fundraising is the backbone of the nonprofits sector, and without the dedicated fundraisers and dedicated donors, the vital programs and services nonprofits provide would not be possible.
That's why fundraising should be, and more and more these days is, a function of every part of a nonprofit organization. That means leadership, IT, program staff and more should understand the work fundraisers do … and vice versa.
With that, we are looking at the biggest trends and most important things on every nonprofit professional's to-do list. Leave a comment here, or email myself at jboland@napco.com or FundRaising Success Editor-in-Chief Margaret Battistelli Gardner at mbattistelli@napco.com.
We're gathering insights from CEOs, executive directors, chief financial officers, HR folks, legal, financial, accounting, programs, fundraising, etc. — and the consultants and agencies that work with them. We want to hear from the nonprofit decision makers and explore the most vital things on the agenda for 2015 and beyond.
Feel free to share your own thoughts and/or gather some from your colleagues and client organizations. What trends are you looking at? What are your very best management tips? What will be keeping you up at night in 2015, and how will you stare it down and conquer it? Your input can be any length, so share away! And pass this post on to friends so they can chime in, as well.
Thanks so much! We're growing with the fundraising sector here at FS, and we want to explore everything it takes to be a successful nonprofit organization.
