New York, August 26, 2009, Billboard — The holiday season is coming a bit early for Bob Dylan fans, as the legendary singer-songwriter is set to release his first Christmas album entitled "Christmas in the Heart" on October 13. Dylan has teamed up with Feeding America (feedingamerica.org) for this release and will donate all present and future U.S. royalties from the sales of "Christmas in the Heart" to this organization. Feeding America provides meal assistance, serving more than four million meals during the holiday season.

BENTONVILLE, Ark., June 24, 2009 — The Walmart Foundation is donating $7.8 million to support food banks and provide healthy, summer meals to children who receive free or reduced-price lunches during the school year. Through partnerships with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Feeding America, and local non-profits in the 10 states where children are most at risk of hunger, Walmart and its Foundation will help assure that their neighbors and those in local communities have access to nutritious food.

NEW YORK, June 8, 2009 — The Fund for New York City Hunger Relief today announced that it will receive a $1 million grant from the Starr International Foundation, in response to a significant increase in the number of people seeking help feeding their families at food pantries and soup kitchens throughout the city. The need for emergency food has increased 30% nationally in the past year, according to Feeding America, the nation's largest domestic hunger relief organization.

RIDGWAY, CO, April 7, 2009 — One in eight Americans is struggling with hunger and more than 36 million are at risk of hunger. CHICAGO, April 1, 2009 — Feeding America today announced that they have received an inaugural grant of $300,000 from the Nationwide Foundation. The funds will be shared by the national office of Feeding America and 15 member food banks in communities where Nationwide Insurance associates live and work.

Feeding America, the nation's largest hunger-relief organization, announced today that it will partner with Gap Inc. through its "Give & Get" program to help raise funds for Feeding America's essential country-wide food assistance programs.
