Pitney Bowes Adds Social Responsibility to Connect+ Printer Capability

Pitney Bowes Inc. announced it is enabling thousands of its Connect+ customers, who on average mail out 3,500 envelopes a month, to raise awareness for national nonprofit organizations through its Connect for a Cause program. The ongoing national campaign is a turnkey program that will help promote national nonprofit organizations for a set period of time during which Connect+ mail system customers can help elevate awareness and drive funding. The customer that delivers the most messages using Connect+ through Dec. 31, 2011 will receive $1,000 to donate to the charity of its choice.

Greenworks Video Announces Colorado Nonprofit Contest

Greenworks Video, a green screen video production studio located in Denver, announces Lights, Camera, Vote For A Cause!, a yearlong video contest for Colorado nonprofit organizations that begins June 3.

Responding to Colorado’s growing philanthropic community and worthy causes in need, Greenworks Video has selected a total of 36 diverse Colorado nonprofit organizations to participate in a yearlong video contest with a winner each month. Each of the 12 contest winners will receive a custom-made video produced by Greenworks Video’s writer-director Brian Doubleday and veteran editor Jim McConnell.

50 States for Good program supports nonprofits

Tom’s of Maine has just launched its third annual 50 States for Good program, which will award a total of $150,000 to six nonprofit organizations. The program is open to nonprofits registered as a 501(c) 3 organization with an operating budget of less than $2 million.

Applications will be accepted through June 21, when the public will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite submissions. Five nonprofits will receive $20,000 and the organization that receives the most public votes will receive $50,000.

DoJiggy Introduces Customer Referral Incentive Program

Online fundraising software provider DoJiggy introduces a referral incentive program, which runs April 15-June 30, 2011. The program rewards DoJiggy and GolfRegistrations customers for referrals that result in software sales more than $279. Delray teams up with nonprofit agency to push good financial practices

The city of Delray Beach and Consumer Credit Management Services are celebrating National Financial Literacy Month in April with "Operation: Money Makeover." The free contest, which begins on Friday and will continue for a year, focuses on promoting personal financial stability. CCMS, a local nonprofit agency, will be offering workshops on managing finances, reducing debt and increasing savings. Seminars and workshops are free, but contest participants will earn points toward winning.

Global Giving's 'Bonus Match Day' - 2 Kansas City agencies selected

On March 16, Global Gving is offering a special incentive for select nonprofits, touted as "Bonus Match Day." When you donate to one of the featured projects through Global Giving, your dollars will be matched at at 30%, up to $1,000, per donor.
In addition, Global Giving is offering a $1,000 bonus donation to the project that raises the most funds that day and a $1,000 bonus donation to the project that receives the most individual donors.

Two Kansas City nonprofits are included: Synergy Services and the  Women's Employment Network.

Continental Tire to Give Away Two Porsches to Benefit Charity

The 2011 Continental Tire Dream Giveaway, a fundraising event sponsored by WorldCause Foundation, kicked off on March 1.

The top prizes for the fundraiser giveaway include a 2011 Hurley Haywood Edition Porsche GT3 and a 2011 Porsche Cayenne S. Hybrid. Both vehicles will come completely outfitted with a brand-new set of Continental tires.

Continental Tire the Americas, working with Grand-Am and Dream Giveaways, created the Continental Tire Dream Giveaway, which directly supports charities such as WorldCause Foundation and Camp Boggy Creek.
