NonProfit PRO’s 2026 Nonprofit Leadership Impact and Fundraising survey is now open. If you’re a nonprofit leader or fundraiser, this nonprofit research study is your chance to share what you’re seeing on the ground and help shape the reporting your peers will use in the year ahead.
What This Study Entails
The survey combines two ongoing projects — our “2026 Nonprofit Leadership Impact Study” and “2026 Nonprofit Fundraising Study” — into one 20-minute questionnaire. It asks about your organization’s priorities, leadership and board dynamics, staffing and volunteer realities, technology and data capabilities, and core fundraising results.
How Your Input Will Be Used
We report all responses anonymously and in aggregate, so no individual organization or person is identified. The findings will provide practitioners with a clearer picture of what’s working, where teams are struggling and how peers are adjusting in 2026. Each report — the “2026 Nonprofit Leadership Impact Study” and “2026 Nonprofit Fundraising Study” — will be available as free downloads later this year.
What You’ll Be Asked
The questions focus on everyday realities, including:
- Your biggest challenges and priorities.
- How your team approaches donor engagement and fundraising strategy.
- Donor acquisition, retention and top revenue-producing tactics.
- How leadership, staff and board decisions are affecting results.
