Reeher Launches App to Aid Higher Education Fundraising Professionals
Press release (Aug. 23, 2012) — Reeher LLC launched a first-of-its-kind iPhone app, Reeher Mobile. Reeher Mobile is the first iPhone app to connect higher education development executives, managers and gift officers to detailed information about their prospects, updated nightly directly from their donor databases. Reeher Mobile is available exclusively to customers of the Reeher Platform, the SaaS-based platform that combines custom predictive models, management tools and Reeher Community Network to put fundraising on the fast track.
“We’re excited that Reeher Mobile brings the power of the Reeher Platform to the many fundraising professionals in our network who are on the go, visiting prospects on behalf of their colleges and universities,” says Andy Reeher, president of Reeher LLC. “Now, they can access prospect information on their iPhones wherever they might be and have a well-informed discussion with that prospect without carrying a mountain of paperwork along.”
Reeher Mobile allows users to look up relationship-specific and prospect assignment data from their Reeher Platform donor database, using the same login information as their Reeher Platform account. Users can access prospect information by search (first name, last name or ID number) or by scrolling through the list of assigned prospects. The app shows all up-to-date information about a prospective donor and their giving history — including prospect ratings, wealth and predictive model scores — as well as the organization’s past interactions with that prospect.
While Reeher Mobile is particularly helpful to gift officers, it’s also a time-saver for development executives and managers who need to reference donor information quickly. Now they can, without needing to request a full report from the prospect’s gift officer in advance.
The Reeher Mobile app is available now in iTunes. The app is a free value-add tool to customers of the Reeher Platform.
“Reeher Mobile is one more example of the ‘what benefits one, benefits all,’ philosophy we apply to the Reeher Community Network,” Reeher says.
