Roger is a veteran direct-response fundraiser who helped launch or build many of the nonprofit household names: Common Cause, NOW, NARAL, Greenpeace, Habitat for Humanity and dozens more. Editor of The Agitator. Serial Curmudgeon and Optimist. Sworn enemy of the satisfied and
complacent.

Duke Haddad

Senior Director of Philanthropy, Make-A-Wish Foundation

“According to the late John Wooden, UCLA champion basketball coach, ‘You can’t live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you.’ Always strive to help others and encourage recipients to ‘pay it forward.'”

Christina Johns

Director, New Media, International Fellowship
of Christians & Jews

“I help nonprofit organizations and individuals use social technology for good. My passion is focusing on the various ways social technology can aid in advancing the missions of
nonprofits.”

Jeff Jowdy

Founder and President,
Lighthouse Counsel

“Effective fundraising drives relationship building — between a nonprofit and those who are passionate enough about its mission to make a gift. Fostering these relationships comes with a great responsibility, as well as great joy and opportunity for the donor as well as the organization and those it serves.”

Steve Kehrli

Development Director,
PETA Foundation

Steve joined the PETA Foundation in 2007 as development director. Prior to joining PETA, he worked with award-winning agency Adams Hussey & Associates (now Chapman, Cubine, Adams + Hussey) as director of
planning and list services. He
began his formal fundraising career in 1991.

Kivi Leroux Miller

Nonprofit Marketing Guide

Kivi is also the author of the popular Kivi’s Nonprofit Communications Blog.

Marc Pitman

Founder, FundraisingCoach.com

“I think fundraising is one of the most exciting professions on the planet! Who else gets to connect people

show them how they can make a
difference?”

Nancy is also the author of the widely followed Getting Attention! blog.

We’d also like to thank our outgoing 2011 Advisors: Thomas Daubert, Sarah Durham, Steve Froehlich, Giselle Holloway, Bernard Ross and Kyla Shawyer.
