Launch of the New NonProfit National Resource Directory
I have had to do research by accessing individual websites in various categories to find whom and what I need. Needless to say, this is a time-consuming process. So out of my own need and the need of others, I have created this new on-line entity that will connect nonprofit organizations to the resources they need to succeed."
The site does not intend to duplicate the efforts of many wonderful websites that include job listings, articles and blogs to keep nonprofit professionals connected with one another and current on the cutting edge of nonprofit management.
Pure and simple, the NonProfit National Resource Directory is just that--- a directory that connects nonprofit management to the businesses, services and resources that will help them to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
The end user of the NonProfit National Resource Directory is the nonprofit community. The directory is intended to provide a first place for them to research consultants, coaches, specialists and vendors who will assist them to maximize their success.
The largest nonprofits such as hospitals, art museums, public schools and major charitable foundations may already be plugged into systems that provide access to consultants. However, smaller, newer or grassroots organizations may not know where to find the assistance they need.
Perhaps they want to contract out an annual fundraising campaign, capital or endowment campaign. Or they may want to create a marketing campaign with a brand that becomes easily recognizable.
Nonprofit professionals, including management, are often trained in their specific field of service, but may not be experienced fundraisers or marketing specialists. The NonProfit National Resource Directory offers them access to a list of specialists who can create and/or implement a fundraising campaign or create and/or implement a marketing strategy, help them develop a more sophisticated board or provide succession planning, risk management expertise, accounting assistance and more.
