DMW Direct Wins Advertising Industry Awards
PHILADELPHIA, April 7, 2011 — DMW Direct, a leading direct-response advertising agency and 50-plus marketing specialist, recently garnered top honors at three industry award presentations. The agency took home a John Caples International Award, four Telly Awards and a Philly Ad Club ADDY for its work on behalf of TruMark Financial.
A series of three television commercials, the TruMark Financial campaign highlights the advantages of banking with a local, community financial institution, calling commercial banks into question for their role in the financial collapse. DMW Direct won a Silver John Caples International Award for the commercial series — the highest award bestowed this year in the TV category. The company also garnered four Telly Awards: one for each of three spots, and one for the overall campaign. Last but not least, the agency captured the Silver Philly Ad Club ADDY in the “TV Campaign” category.
“Winning these awards is particularly noteworthy for us,” said Bill Spink, chief creative officer of DMW Direct. “The Caples is truly an international competition, receiving thousands of entries from agency conglomerates and independent agencies around the globe. Our win here is a true testament to the quality of our work against very tough competition.”
He continued, “Our wins at the ADDY Awards, which are a general advertising industry competition, are also significant because DMW Direct is primarily known as a direct-response agency. The Telly Awards, too, are extremely competitive, so our multiple wins there also signify a great accomplishment.”
