DMW Direct Takes Home Record 5 2011 'Benny' Awards
Press Release (June 15, 2011) — DMW Direct, a leading direct response advertising agency and 50 plus marketing specialist, received a record number of wins at the 2011 Benjamin Franklin Awards for Direct Marketing Excellence, also known as the “Bennys.” The event and presentation took place on Wednesday, June 11, at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ.
“Each year, the Benny Awards showcase the finest talent among members of the Philadelphia direct marketing community,” said Mark Mandia, President and Chief Operating Officer at DMW Direct. “We are honored to be recognized for our team’s achievements, and we congratulate our fellow winners for their creativity and innovation in developing compelling – as well as highly successful – direct marketing campaigns.”
DMW Direct won five Benny awards, including the 2011 Thomas Black Memorial Award for Best of Show, recognizing the “Raising Chase” TV spot produced for client TruMark Financial. This marks the second consecutive year the agency captured the award, which was introduced in 1994 and designed to pay tribute to Tom Black, former President and CEO of Mars Graphics.

The TruMark Financial campaign is a series of three television commercials that highlights the advantages of banking with a local, community financial institution and calls commercial banks into question for their role in the recent financial collapse.
