A Blast From the Past: Passion Translates (November 2006)

November is FundRaising Success' 10th anniversary, and to celebrate we've been sharing articles and columns from past issues all year.

In October 2006, I attended my first International Fundraising Congress, hosted each year in the Netherlands by The Resource Alliance. I'm not even a fundraiser, and the experience changed me. It changed my professional outlook and my personal outlook, and it deepened my understanding of asking, giving and receiving. It enriched and inspired me as a communicator and as a person.
