2nd Annual NIO Summit Aims to Educate Fundraisers on Cutting-Edge Optimization Strategies

As the climate of the nonprofit sector is changing, fundraisers, and organizations alike, are looking for newer and more innovative strategies to implement into their practice. In today’s booming age of technology, approaches to an organization’s success are constantly evolving and becoming endless. How do you learn what’s out there and what’s the most beneficial move for your organization?
NextAfter, a research lab and consultancy helping nonprofits improve their impact, recently announced its second annual NonProfit Innovation & Optimization (NIO) Summit. This year’s NIO Summitt aims to grow nonprofit impact and encourage innovation by bringing in for-profit marketers to train fundraisers about optimization strategies, NextAfter said in a press release.
“The lack of innovation in nonprofit fundraising is systemic. Organizations use the same tactics over and over, hoping that they will sustain them until the next campaign. Marketing has evolved dramatically over the past decade, but nonprofits haven’t caught up. Either we innovate, or we die.” — Tim Kachuriak, Chief Innovation & Optimization Officer, NextAfter
The NIO Summit is kicking off on Sept. 21 to 22 in Fort Worth, Texas. To learn more about the event, click here.
