Whether in Memphis, Nashville or metro Denver, there are success stories. Businesses and nonprofits coming together not just to create jobs, but to forge life-changing opportunities that turn out to be positive for everyone involved.
Many of those stories were told Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the second Market Solutions for Community Transformation Pre-Conference. The event was held in conjunction with the Christian Community Development Association annual conference Nov. 11-14 at the Memphis Cook Convention Center.
At one level, the message was as simple—and as powerful—as a young woman named Annie standing up before a full hotel conference room and describing her journey with an economy of heartfelt words.
