NEW YORK, July 29, 2009 — The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) today unveiled its "DMA Certified Marketing Professional" program, a first of its kind global standard for direct marketing education. While the program is open to all, individuals from DMA member companies will receive additional benefits throughout their course of study, beginning with special member pricing.

WASHINGTON, D.C., June 3, 2009 — The One Woman Initiative (http://www.OneWomanInitiative.org), a one-year-old public/private initiative to empower women in countries with significant Muslim populations, today announced its first grants, totaling more than $500,000 to five grassroots organizations in Azerbaijan, Egypt, India, Pakistan and the Philippines. The OWI grants are being made to locally focused organizations with results-oriented programs providing women access to legal rights, political participation, and economic development.
