Nonprofits Challenged With E-mail Integration, Growth and Retention

Sage North America announced the results of its Sage Nonprofit Insights, Q4 2011, survey of U.S. and Canadian nonprofit organizations, which focused on questions related to nonprofits’ e-mail marketing (“e-marketing”) goals and objectives and use of e-mail marketing tools.

According to the survey, the most significant e-mail marketing challenges for nonprofit organizations are growing and retaining contacts (38 percent of respondents), integrating e-mail with other systems (38 percent), and integrating e-mail with other tactics (38 percent).

University of the Sciences Using Sage Millennium CRM System

Sage North America announced that University of the Sciences (USciences), a private health care and science university in Philadelphia that is distinguished as North America’s first pharmacy school, is using Sage Millennium to give it a dynamic approach to constituent relationship management (CRM). Sage Millennium provides USciences with more intimate connections with constituents through the use of relationship trees and a more comprehensive donor database, and real-time data for board of trustee meetings.

Latest Version of Sage Fund Accounting Released

Sage North America announced that Version 11.0 of its Sage Fund Accounting nonprofit and government financial management software is now available. Product enhancements focused on improving the customer experience and included streamlining the upgrade process with the new Sage Auto Update console; implementing user-requested improvements within core modules; updating the workflow and user interface; improving reporting capabilities; and adding Sales Order functionality to the Accounts Receivable (A/R) module.

Nonprofits Generally Optimistic About Final Quarter Fundraising

Sage North America announced the results of its recently conducted Sage Nonprofit Insights, Q3 2011, survey of U.S. and Canadian nonprofit organizations, which focused on questions related to their year-end fundraising efforts.

According to the survey, organizations are generally optimistic about the final quarter of 2011, with a third (33%) saying they expect to raise more funds than they did in last year's final quarter.
