VFW Launches New Customized Modeling Program

Danbury, CT — (Sept. 24) — RMI Direct Marketing, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of a new customized modeling program for the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) non-member donor database*.

VFW now offers two approaches to custom models: a Mailed Regression and Good
Customer Match. These sophisticated models help mailers eliminate non-responsive
markets and identify their best prospects to increase response rates.

Mailed Regression: This model requires mailing a quantity of VFW names considerable enough to provide a minimum of 1,000 responses. The resulting responders are then analyzed against VFW’s data to build the mailed regression model.

Good Customer Match: The Mailer identifies and provides “good customers” from their own database and we match them against the VFW universe to identify donors with similar characteristics.

“We are very excited about the launch of the new VFW Customized Modeling
programs,” says Alan Yu, Strategic Sales Director at RMI. “Modeling aside, the VFW
non-member list already performs exceptionally well with over 400 mailers using the file annually. The new models provide a unique opportunity to drive increased response rates by dictating exactly how mailers should use the file.”

The VFW non-member donor database offers two million caring and patriotic Americans who value the sacrifices that their country’s service members have made for their freedom. They are young and old, men and women, and are selectable by many different attributes including age, ethnicity, religion and lifestyle interests. The list has proven to be a responsive audience to health, humanitarian, animal welfare, and children’s appeals, and a variety of commercial offers including publishing, insurance, collectibles, general merchandise, food/gift, membership and more.
