Third of UK Donors Will Give Less in Next Six Months

Feb. 17, 2009, Third Sector — A third of donors in the UK intend to give less to charity over the next six months, according to new research.

The figures from the Charitable Giving Report, by marketing firm Tangible Response, also show that almost half do not plan to change their level of giving.

The online survey is conducted among a random selection of 30,000 adults each month. Results are categorised by gender, age, income and method of donation.
