Marketing Edge Announces Call for 2015 Rising Stars & Corporate Commitment Awards Nominations

(Press release, Jan. 8, 2015) — To recognize young professionals age 40 and under who have maintained a strong record of giving back through education and mentoring while achieving a high level of corporate success, Marketing EDGE, a nonprofit organization formerly known as the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation, announces its call for nominations for the 2015 Rising Stars and Corporate Commitment Awards.

On top of achieving professional greatness, our Rising Stars awards pay tribute to individuals and a corporation who have demonstrated extraordinary efforts to support the next generation of marketing talent, through education, mentoring and service," said Terri L. Bartlett, president, Marketing EDGE. "Nine years ago we never dreamed of the unparalleled caliber of honorees that make up our Rising Stars 'alumni.' Stepping on the shoulders of previous winners, I'm certain this year's award winners will inspire and motivate all of us to emulate their paths."

According to the award entry guidelines:

"Individual and corporate award recipients will be honored for their commitment to excellence in the field of marketing education, specifically highlighting service which nurtures and supports the next generation of talent in this field. These honorees set the standard for leadership and giving back to the marketing community."

Marketing EDGE invites the industry-at-large to submit online nominations for the 2015 Rising Stars (here) and Corporate Commitment Awards (here).

The deadline for all nominations is Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015.

Each year, Marketing EDGE honors several Rising Stars Awards honorees, among professionals 40 years or younger, and a Corporate Commitment Award honoree, distinguishing a corporation that has made a positive impact on the field through mentoring, education and supporting the next generation of marketing leaders. The awards will be presented on Tuesday, June 9, at 583 Park Avenue in New York City during the Marketing EDGE 2015 Rising Stars Awards Dinner, in coordination with the Direct Marketing Association's Integrated Marketing Week conference (June 9-10). Winners will be announced in early March.
