The University of Louisville’s J.B. Speed School of Engineering has received an in-kind gift of software valued at $427 million. The software will allow U of L students to use the same technology currently used by a variety of global industries.
The gift was provided by Plano, Texas-based Siemens PLM Software, according to a news release. It includes what is known as product lifecycle management software for computer-aided design, manufacturing and engineering.
